Meet Miss Maleficent! She is a three-year-old, female, tabby cat who was found abandoned outside of an animal hospital. After being brought to the shelter, our vet staff noticed she was suffering from frequent vomiting and diarrhea. We suspect this may be why she was left at the animal hospital. After running several tests, all results were negative. Our vet changed Maleficent’ s diet and our staff monitored any changes. After weeks of testing, monitoring, and trial and error, her symptoms decreased with a diet change!
It was determined by our vet that Maleficent has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Despite this diagnosis, with the right diet and a quiet home, we know she will be a happy cat! She is incredibly sweet, talkative, and friendly! We can’t believe this beautiful girl has been waiting over 100 days for a new, forever home. Don’t pass up this beauty!
