HUMANE INVESTIGATIONS
The Washington Area Humane Society employs one full-time Humane Society Police Officer (HSPO).
Animal abuse, neglect, and abandonment are all too common in Washington County. Often, animal abusers are also abusing children, dealing drugs, or are involved in other crimes that affect an entire community. Our Humane Investigation Unit serves as an important resource to the residents of Washington County.
