WCCF Gives, Day of Giving, Washington County Community Foundation, WAHS, Washington Area Humane Society

The Washington Area Humane Society is seeing an unprecedented amount of animal neglect and homelessness. Now more than ever, we need your support to continue our mission of caring for and rehoming the forgotten animals in Washington County, Pennsylvania. 100% of our intakes were from the county in 2023, and we have a live release rate of 95%. In 2024, we aim to reach over 5,000 pets through intakes, foster homes, adoptions, humane investigations, vaccination clinics, spay/neuter surgeries, pet food banks, and low-cost vet care. We would appreciate you supporting us on Thursday, September 19th, for the annual WCCF Gives Day.

The Washington County Community Foundation hosts a countywide giving event to benefit local charitable nonprofits. The minimum contribution is only $25, but donors are welcome to give as much and to as many charities as they would like.
