Please let us introduce you to Bear. Bear is a ten-year-old, neutered, male, Chow Chow/Retriever/Labrador mix who weighs 53 pounds. He was recently surrendered to the shelter, and we’re excited to help this old man find his new home! Bear seems to enjoy the simple things in life; he likes to take his daily walks, lounge around, and relax at home. Bear is a curious man, but he’s doing well at the shelter and learning basic commands such as sit, down, give paw and stay. He is an affectionate dog that loves attention and pets. Bear is afraid of children and pushy with other dogs; therefore, he will need a fur companion that can tolerate his excitement. He cannot go home with any children. Stop in and say hello to Bear!
